Private Lessons (open to all ages)

Times: Monday 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Program Cost: Members $64/person, Nonmembers $80/person

 

Sailboat used: Sunfish, Butterfly, Opti, 420 or Capri

Have you ever wanted to learn to sail without going through the traditional sailing class? Well,

this is your chance. Private lessons will be taught by the staff of the Diamond Lake Sailing

School allowing for a full emergence in the activity of sailing. Upon arrival at your lesson, you

will be matched to the boat size that best fits your sailing needs. The emphasis will be on water

instruction in the basics of sailing while also being introduced to boat rigging and controls. Once

on the water your instructor will allow you the maximum amount of tiller time and sail control

for you to take the first step in learning to sail.

Feel free to sign up with friends or family members to enhance your experience. Weekly private

lessons are being held throughout the summer. Signing up for multiple sessions is encouraged.
