Wind and Wine (ages of 18 and over, only those 21+ will be served an alcoholic beverage)

Times: Tuesday 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Program Cost: $64 for members, $80 for nonmembers

Sailboat used: Capri or Hobie Cat

In a first, adult sailing activities are being offered so, get out of your pontoons, wake boat, ski

boat or jet ski and find out the pleasures of a sailing cruise on Diamond Lake. Diamond Lake has

a long and storied history of sailing going back over 75 years. Your sailboat will be skippered by

an instructor from the Diamond Lake Sailing School. While not intended to be an instructional

class you can participate in crew activities such as rudder time and trimming the sails. You will

leave the dock at the Diamond Lake Yacht Club with a fresh glass of wine (age restrictions in

force) and begin your cruise. Participation with friends or family members is encouraged to

enhance the experience. The cruise will primarily take place using a Capri Day Sailer as the

sailboat of choice. For our more adventurous class members you can choose to take the cruise

on a Hobie Cat and experience the thrill of sailing at high speeds depending on wind conditions.

Weekly Wind and Wine cruises are held throughout the summer.
